What Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data directly from you unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g. by contacting us, donating or signing up to a mental health training course).

However, we use Fathom Analytics to collect anonymous usage data to help us understand how visitors use our site. Fathom Analytics does not use cookies and is fully compliant with UK-GDPR, PECR, and other privacy regulations. The data collected cannot be used to identify you. Information collected includes:

  • Pages visited
  • Country (based on IP address, anonymised)
  • Referring website, with device, resolution and browser 

This analytical information is only used in aggregate to improve our website and services.

When contacting us, or signing up to a mental health training course online, your information will be securely stored on Mailchimp; a service we use to help collect and community via email. Data is processed in accordance with GDPR, and Mailchimp maintains strong data security and privacy practices.

Course Evaluation

As part of our funded training programmes, 12th Man Mental Health CIC is required to collect participant feedback to measure the impact of our work and report to our funders.

By taking part in a course, participants will automatically receive short evaluation emails approximately 1, 3 and 6 months after training. These are a required element of the funded programme and are not marketing.

Our Hosting

Our website is hosted via Cloudways, which uses infrastructure provided by DigitalOcean. Data is processed in accordance with GDPR, and Cloudways and DigitalOcean maintain strong data security and privacy practices.

Embedded Media

Articles on this site may include embedded content from YouTube. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Data Sharing

With the exception of the above services and reasoning, we do not share your personal data with third parties, unless required by law.
