Businesses within the construction, engineering and manufacturing industries often have high numbers of male staff, and the tea hut, building site or company yard are spaces that conversation will take place.
The construction industry has one of the highest suicide rates so it is in all businesses interests to support their workforce. 12th Man provide Mental Health First Aid training for businesses in these sectors to give staff and contractors the confidence and skills to make mental health conversation business and usual, and build resilience within the workforce and wider community.
